It is very possible that their e-mail address has been spoofed, this happens
and puts people at odds or they run everything they can and find nothing. It
is a growing problem. We see this every day or two and there is nothing we
can do for the users.

I simply ignore these messages when I get them and believe me I get a lot
from around the world.
