[NSRCA-discussion] OS 1.40 RX mid range loading up problem

I ran the OS 1.40RX the last 4 years. I ran the Macs header and ES
pipe..single plug head with ONLY K&B 1L plugs...I changed plugs once a
year...usually the week before the NATS..thats it...last year I went through
40 gallons of fuel through it. Fool proof setup, fuel flip and fly. Very
quiet as well..no midrange problems. I always ran the long high speed
needle, but never made much of a difference. TONS of power on 15% Cool
Power. I had mid range problems with all of the OS plugs, but with the K&B
plus, no problems and they lasted forever. In fact, after I changed plugs
the week before the NATS..my dad would continue to run them in his sport
planes with no problems. I finally had a set of SS bearings go bad at the
last contest of the year last year, but anyone who saw my setup previous to
that would agree, it was very user friendly.

This discussion is a real good argument for electrics. I haven't fired up my
new (used) OS 1.4 yet but I am becoming nervous.
