[NSRCA-discussion] Controller... what would you want in yours???

Well, I have not flown any electric planes in pattern competition (yet) but I have flown a lot of small electrics. The one thing that sticks out at me in your list is the auto/fixed end points. I highly prefer fixed endpoints. I've had problems before when full throttle ended up not being full throttle on a controller that had auto endpoints.

Hi all,

We (SA) are looking to have a new controllers with our new motors and would
like some feed back from pilots as to what you would
like to see included in the software in a controller.

Some things off the top of my head are:

Fixed or Auto end-point options
F3A Brake
Timing adjustable by 1-degree increments
3 or 4 timing options
Thermal and low voltage cut-offs
Pro-Box for at the field set-ups

If you have any other options that you would like to see, please let me know.
