[NSRCA-discussion] Electric newbee question...

I have a bit of experience with connectors of this nature and I am comfortable working with them. However, considering the fact that a short between the pins would likely do serious damage I think I will try to find the parts for an adapter rather than attempt rework. Besides, the plastic moldings are not the same size.
I bought the stuff used from individuals.

  John,

Is the battery from Commonsense RC?
Depending on connectors, some of them has wires just soldered to the pins and each one of then can be carefully pull out of the connector. With a #11 blade tip, you can also pull the wires out of the balancer connectors on some of batteries

You should be able to find a balancer connector converter or can make them with one female that fits on the pack and one male that matches the charger/balancer you have.

I bought a heli (Align-Trex 450) from one fellow that uses 3S-2100 mah LiPo's and an airplane from another guy that uses the same batteries (ThunderPower).
The balance connectors are a little different in size but it appears to me that the wiring is exactly opposite between the two.

Is the common practice simply to fabricate/buy an adapter cable to charge them?
