[NSRCA-discussion] CDI 170

Matt,

We modified a receiver switch so it would plug into an extra slot in the receiver and then to the CDI unit. We are as Chris said running on the same battery as the receiver. With the Fromeco setup I'm sure we could go most of the day without recharging IMHO. I like being able to kill the engine without turning off the radio.

Do you folks connect the CDI directly to the battery via a second
switch or do you install to a free RX channel? If the latter, how do
you configure the channel?

Im using a fromeco 7.4v 2600mah battery with a jaccio regulator at 6v
on the receiver and ignition and have got 6 flights. most likely I
could get more but I never fly more than 6 times in a day.

thanks,
Chris
