[NSRCA-discussion] UCANDO3D+10STITCHES

Well, I do try to fly other planes besides the pattern birds now and then. Flying a Cox(Pica) Duelist around has been fun and I finally completed a UCANDO3D over the winter. Since I don't have any engines between an OS .60 and a YS140FZ, I put the 140 in the UCANDO3D with a large 18X6W prop to keep the thrust up, but top speed down. Well, you probably know what is about to happen next.... The clearance to my arm exists, but with the narrow gear on the 3D (vs. a pattern airplane) there is only a few inches of room to spare. While starting up the engine for the third flight, the engine kicked back and somehow the prop met my bicep. I didn't even know it had hurt me, and was debating taking off and when I looked at my shirt and saw a nice red spot growing. Well, to make a long story short, a run to the Urgent care facility 4 miles away yielded 10 stitches and a lesson learned. I left my stuff at the field with the guys who were there and upon returning, I decided to take that 3rd flight on the 3D. This time, I asked for a holder though......
