Just 3 weeks ago I made an order to HK through PP and cancelled it a couple of days later.

I got on the HK live chat and got the refund done.

I received the credit from PP on my VISA promptly.

Update, PayPal got me my money back. Never heard from Hobbyking. Will probably buy from them again since they have good quality batteries and motors.

Wasn't it on this very list that we were recently decrying the loss of local hobby shops? Why would anyone support the worst of the hobby shop predators for anything but batteries (and if you could find equivalent performance + weight as the Zippy Compacts I'd wonder why even batteries)?

Hi guys

I ordered one of these right after the thread started, first week of March. I didn't notice that the shipping was $65 so I cancelled the order. Unfortunately when I ordered I used PayPal and Hobby King was paid. Hobby King acknowledged the cancellation of the order but has not refunded my $183. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and have emailed Hobby King at least 4 times but they ignore me. I am pretty sure I will eventually get my money back but buyer beware. Your mileage may differ.

Hank

FYI, these are in stock in the US now. $149 prices, but if you go to page and wait, you will get offer for $138. Shipping around $35. Just ordered mine now.

I just went to order one. Did you actually pay the $76+ shipping on the plane out of China, or did you get it from a different warehouse? I think I’ll wait for it to be available in a US warehouse.

I ordered one to play with yesterday. My guess is the servos may need replaced due to poor centering, but it's a pretty cool plane to mess around with after a pattern meet in the evenings.

Does anyone have any experience with one of these? Thinking of adding it to my collection.
