researched Mintor quite a bit before I decided to go the easy route and buy a
Webra Aero X. The main problem is the bank transfer. First, I needed
to have an account with B of A, which I do not. Second, the flat fee for a
bank transfer is $45.00. So that head will cost you over $100, and your
bank needs to be able to handle the wire transfer to Italy. Not all banks
do that, and B of A would not even discuss the matter until I had an account
with them. Forget trying to pay via postal money order. The postal
money order requires up to ten weeks to process in a batch, and the recipient
must still exchange U.S. dollars for Euros, which costs extra money. So by
the time the money order is received, the exchange rate will have changed,
and it is no less expensive after currency is exchanged.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=796545019-18092002>So
there is the problem. Decent looking product and priced well, but
difficult and expensive to pay for. There is a business opportunity for
somebody in the US. Cut a deal for twenty engines from Mintor, pay the
$45.00 transfer fee once, and then sell the engines in the US for a
profit. Or, a bunch of people on this list buy them together, and then
distribute them. (not me). Another option might be to arrange for a
TOC contestant to bring engines and parts for sell for US
dollars.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

was a learning experience for me. It turns out that transfering money to
foreign lands is not trivial and not worth doing for small quantities or small
price items. BTW, Piedmont Models is doing the pattern community a great
favor for stocking the Webra Aero X.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

green one there is also the option for a additional piece (call sub head

green Japanese twin plug head is a bolt on option that even has another

Removing the second piece solved that. The idle was incredibly low at
around 1300, and transition was the smoothest of any OS I have seen yet.
This particular engine also used an exhaust valve on the stinger, and in
conjunction with the head, made for the smoothest OS I have seen to
date.</FONT> <BR><BR><FONT
