I have owned a few YS engines in the last few years, mostly
the 120 NC versions that I had on Goldberg Ultimate, as I am new to pattern,
they worked well for about 100 flights or so, then they would start to lose
power, etc. . . . I am "sure" it was "owner error" in myself not understanding
the 4 stroker. Thus, the LAST thing I think I'll buy any time in the future will
be a YS, just tooooo many headaches for me.

I must agree with Mike though on the 2 strokes, I bought a
slightly used 1.40 rx from Matt that I put on my Typhoon. . . "1" flip,
every time, since the day I put it on the plane. . . I absolutely love
that motor. . . I think I love Matt more for giving it up !
;-)

On my next project, a new Entropy I think it'll have the Webra
engine on it. I have heard many folks sing the praise of the engine, but Matt
truly loves the thing, and he Steve and Neal have not been wrong in
recommendations for me so far.

The OS, Webra and the new DZ are all capable
engines in the right hands. For instance I can't make an OS run bad to save my

2 stroke guy =P Plus is it just me, or are some of the 2 strokes unbelieveably
quiet? Mine purrs, but Matt Kebabjian's is practically in stealth mode.
