rules proposals that were submitted to AMA was posted on this list about a month
ago. There was no rule proposal for a weight limit change because the
membership did not approve such a change. In a series of three questions on
the original ballot, the members voted "no change", by a slim majority. Better
luck next time, or write your own proposal and submit it. That is your

the initial vote.

<DIV></DIV>>This changed about 6 years ago. As a matter of fact, An NSRCA
past President, Rick Allison, spent long hours writing a proposal to help
counteract this change. However, it ended up being thrown out by the AMA Exec.
Counsel.

<DIV></DIV>>I am in total support of ANY AMA member sending in proposals.
Past surveys prove that NSRCA can't think of everything that needs to be done.
Many things can be missed, or not even thought of. It is also very easy to
just sit back and let NSRCA handle everything. Don't do that! That's the
problem with the "silent majority" of our country now! We don't vote, and so
we end up with what we get.
