<P>Very true. There is in fact safety in numbers.and larger numbers will help the modeling community as a whole. It takes a forward looking membership to move in the direction which benefits all. </P>
<P>SIG's will always lead the way to shape the group intrest and assure that there is stability within that group. There will always be controversy between individuals and groups, but as long as we don't loose site of the overall objective we will succeed into the future.</P>
<P>The main concern is that as the membership expands the larger areas of intrest may become complacent due to lack of an objective goal or others setting their goals for them thereby fragmenting the basic needs of the entire orginization and the smaller SIG's who have led the way toward progress in the past.</P>
<P>We see this in pattern when we only have 20% of the membership voting on major items. I wonder what percentage of the membership votes in an AMA election?</P>
<P>This being the case I guess it is up to those who have the energy and intrest to lead the way. My sincere hope is that we have the right leaders who posess the ability to look into the future and mould the AMA and all of it's SIG's into the best of the best. <BR>Buddy<BR></P></DIV>
