These type of flyers are in and outta the hobby and after crashing into the neighbor's chimney they learn to fly at the Allen Tx water tower so they do not have all those "rules" to contend with. The question of the day for the AMA is "Just what kind of crack are yous guys smokin' anyway?"</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Anyone who thinks the park flyer types will join the AMA are simply beserk. And my opinion does carry <b><i>"SERIOUS" </i></b>weight as I am the PRESIDENT of the AMA club 0623...............which means I am an expert into the mind of the average AMA member and I have discovered that it is NOT a good place to be! 22 days and one meeting left-and I am no longer an expert THANK GOD! At that point I most likely will have an uncontrolable urge to purchase a park flyer and renew my AMA ......................all at the same time.......<br>

The AMA is pursuing the market of the "small-lightweight" flyer, because they offer greater numbers for membership, at a fraction of the "risk". Small 1/2 lb plane you can fly in the street, or a 12 lb arf? Which is the greatest legal risk? Which can kill someone? The member offers the same $$$ to join, but much less risk to AMA.</font>
