<P>In Texas you have to drive a little farther but the roads are flat and the track is fast.</P>
<P>There is a lot of R/C activity in the SA area but I dont know about pattern. There are sevral pattern guys in the Austin area and about ten to twelve in the Houston area in addition to those that Lance mentoined Houston is about a three hour drive from SA </P>
<P>You should have no problem finding a flying field in that area if you go to the AMA District eight web-site they have a listing. Could be you could stir up some intrest there, that use to be a serious pattern area some years back</P>
<P>As far as flying weather we are able to fly all year around I am planning to fly this week after the rain stops. We had a benefit Toy's for Tot's event last week and had forty pilots, Come on down. </P>

<DIV></DIV>>From the looks of it might only be there Feb thru May....Just looking at options....Vegas and Phoenix are options also....And I know how the weather is there and the level of pattern activity is pretty good there also......Especially early in the season.
