Troy:
I agree with you about the nurses profession. Right now, if I
had a kid looking to go into aviation, I would see if I could interest
him/her in becoming a nurse. Pay might suffer a little, but in the
long run, I believe it to be a more dependable job. Never known an
established nurse to be out of a job for long. My granddaughter is
a nurse in Portland, OR and after a few months they literally begged her
to take over the job of floor nurse. And, she's young, and
not too long out of nurses school, either.
Didn't know you were so well established in Las Vegas with the pattern
bunch. (As you probably know, most of them fly both pattern and IMAC.)
Frank Kelly got the pattern interest going, and I promoted the hell out
of IMAC and, next thing you know, guys were flying contests, we had the
IMAC nats 2 years in a row--competition just took off like a skyrocket.
All the bunch were looking for, was someone who had some experience to
guide them in the right direction. After that, don't bother looking
back..............

Oh we've been to Vegas a bunch for contests over
the years...They are a pretty decent bunch of guys.....Tom, Trent, Frank...and
even our motor mount buddy Merle is there.... Thanks for the
help.... Its now looking a little more like Riverside....The SA job
may not be available in Feb so we might have to look elsewhere.... But
currently we are looking at Riverside, Phoenix and Vegas....and San Antonio
as a really good option job wise...regarding the pay and everything but
it might not wait till Feb for us.... Still looking at options.....Found
lots of FL jobs but it takes so long to get a Nurses license in Florida
3-4 months after application....This is one problem in Arizona also.....Seem
that Hillary got part of here health care plan installed heh? We read
numbers that Florida is 30-40% short of nurses...they are paying top of
the line dollars like 20-30% more than elsewhere but they can't hire people
without a license.... and just think of all those seasoned citizens
like Ron down there.....LOL We are still looking at options....Right
now we are amazed at the demand for traveling nurses and the pay associated...makes
me wish I was a nurse and not an engineer. TN
If it looks like Las Vegas is still in the running, let me know.
I know some of the pattern guys there and can give you some names.

I would kinda like to move closer to the Hot spots of pattern and that
seems to be CA, South TX, SE (FL, SC, NC) Since we have an opportunity
I figure go where the people are flying...... TN
