without restrictions. The fog sometimes makes it tricky. Many times
during the summer I get to the field at 5:00 pm after work, and the fog starts
rolling in. It can be very frustrating. Other times the fog stays
away until sunset. If we are really socked in on a weekend, I will make a
trip out to New Cuyama to get out of the fog and share the runway with the full
scale sport planes that occasionally land there.</SPAN></DIV>

visit again before long. I have some end of season maintence to do on my

our field resurfaced, so the rocks are not a problem now. Santa Maria
has a field in the works for next year if the state and then the city

be to live in Arroyo Grande or Oceano, to be in the middle of work and the
SLO field. Vandenberg is a great place to practice when not
foggy, however you need a permit to get on base. My job requires me to
visit the base occasionally, so I have a permit.</SPAN></DIV>
