think we are pretty much on the same page; I like to regulate the power (battery)
supply for constant performance of the servos. Hence the voltage regulator is a
must in my book.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>And the fact that
diodes are not as reliable as a designed voltage regulator is a big fact. <span
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Also it did not make sense to go through
a diode and then voltage regulator.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</span>When I did use diodes, I used only one and it was in a 6” servo extension
– this gives you additional two connections, which just adds to the complexity
and lowers reliability.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>I like the
simplicity of only one regulator but with a backup.<span style="mso-spacerun:
