size=2>If you fly in high humidity the problem will be worse. I remember back
when we were using Rossi's and I picked up my plane and dumped some fuel out of
the pipe on my foot......it wasn't fuel, it was water that had precipitated out
of the air, gone through the engine and stayed in the pipe.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

size=2>I actually run 2 strokes with a 50-50 mix of methanol and castor oil as
an after run...this will stop that rust dead in it's tracks and the diaphragms
and pumps don't gum up either. They would though if you left them for
months. Just putting the stuff in the intake won't work, you have to run the
engine to blow out the water and coat the internals with
castor.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

size=2>With an engine like a Rossi or a sport engine with no silicone
rubber parts, I use WD-40 and run the engine on it...a little above idle and
this really works. Squirt it in the intake...the engine will run on the
propellant and distribute the Stoddard solvant or whatever is in there. Someone
said there was an abrasive in WD-40....haha, don't think so.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

there is some horrible looking crap that has formed or grown inside on the

I just found some weeds over here!</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Personally, I think after run oil is a waste of
time and money. If you fly often enough, the properties in the fuel will keep
your engine in check, provided you do not have lean runs. I believe that the
fuels have gotten better and cleaner and have all the properties an engine
needs to stay lubricated. I have not had any major problems from not using
after run oil.</FONT></DIV>
