He uses a small brass collar big enough to go over the plug post and silver solders a length of teflon coated wire to it. It tightens on the plug with a shortened ball socket set screw. He then uses a small RCA jack to transfer power from the battery. Light and compact. Everyone knows the Pro-Driver is an excellent device, and after a while we need to replace the Sullivan clip on the end, usually with the "professional" one. However, the twist-lock Sullivan device is just not lasting for me anymore. On my old Pro-Driver, I've replaced it about 5 times (with pro-sullivan silver one). I have a brand-new Pro-Driver II with the silver Sullivan clip, and it did not make it through 3 days of use. It now pops off the plug as soon as you hit the starter on the engine.
