In order for AMA to adopt FAI noise rules, somebody has to propose it AND
it has to be passed by the R/C Aerobatics contest board. The likelihood
of that happening is about the same as my hitting the Florida Lottery.<br>

planes are by far the quitest airplanes in the air. I have seen a few
IMAC's that have the noise down some but they still get a good prop rip
at speed. The .15 to .60 size engines make an iratating high pitch whine.</font>

of the larger two strokes turning the big props? We measured a YS140DZ
with ES pipe turning a 17X12 APC and came up with 96dB, right on the limit.
