NOW the kicker: APC 17x12 standard blade (read wide) 8300 RPM (APC 16.5x13 W turns about the same) on Magnum 15%, idles at < 1800 RPM all day long, transitions almost "4 stroke like". Though it has not been measured with a sound meter, I dont think over the limit.
