bump option I would 1/4 roll to a pull over the top and then 1/4 roll down

pull thing is NOT true for the top hat, the attitude of the horizontal
portion is DEFINED in the maneuver description so don't confuse the two,
been there, done that, some judges (even your "so called" friends, I'm
