<DIV><FONT size=4>That's a little comforting. I don't know a lot about batteries
except that up to now, I've always heard that heat and rechargeable batteries
are a bad mix. I've been hearing from other guys as well that NiMH batteries
heat up a bit when charging and that it's normal. However, I'd be surprised if
they're supposed to get as warm as they were on my Alpha 4. Other than figuring
out the best way to charge it at a reasonable price, I'm very happy with the
3000mah NiMH pack I got from Bern Furgang for my Kavan starter. I'm now
contemplating a 2000 mah pack for my 9Z from Bern but I want to get the charging
situation cleared up first.</FONT></DIV>
