myself have utilize Mintor heads and Performance Specialties AAC piston and
liners. Engine weight with 2 glow plugs is 26.3 oz. I agree with Dave, I
want to see all these under 10 lb widebody pattern ships on a scale in
person. I know of one Hydeaway that weighed nearly 11 1/2 lbs that was
professionally built. Dave's Hideaway has absolutely nothing extra, a 4 ounce
paint job from primer to clear coat and if I remember right his wings were

scale in person. This kit was built as lite as I could not only that but
have a OS140rx that has shed 2oz through mod's The only thing that ads some
extra weight is I used a bladder tank.</FONT></DIV>

at the weight. 9.5lbs seems to be the norm for this one. Still
