I recently dabbled with RC Open Combat for something different. WHOA, these guys are serious about this streamer hackin' stuff. $70 DISPOSABLE airplane kits (not arf), $250 .30 Jett motors, Radios, extra receivers and servos because of the attrition, travel, streamers, on and on. Many guys are flying concurrently in Scale Combat. They'll show up with a total of 8 airplanes for one weekend's contest and hope to go home with something left. And, believe it or not, this event has turned into a team sport with the caller being darned near as important as the flyer. If you dont have a good helper calling out the targets for you, you'll get munched. <BR>
