Bill and I are among the permanent members of the
"lower" classes. After flying a given sequence a season or so, we see we are in
an area of diminishing returns. Practice is not the limiting factor as to how
good we are going to get, our personal limitations are the real limits. Changing
the sequence regularly does not make us better flyers, it makes us frequent
flyers.

When a pattern flyer loses interest in practice, he
is a step away from losing interest in pattern. Then your contests start having
only as many contestants as you have trophies. I really don't think the sequence
has a lot of effect on the rising pilots. They are going to make their way
through the permanent members of the "lower" classes regardless.

I frequently think about just moving on to Masters
anyway. It won't make any difference in the trophy collection, it costs the
same, and the scenery changes occasionally. Also, then I would not have to judge
it!

May be I will do that.... It sounds better
all the time.... I wonder what happens if we all do that?

is really hard to believe that our schedule system within NSRCA and

stepping stones from class to class is fine however the schedules
could still be changed periodically. Many of the Int. and Adv.
flyers that I know are going to be pretty disappointed, they were looking
forward to a change in 2005 and yes I realize that they were thinking
erroneously but some just started with in the past 15 months.
