safety. These cells must go through extensive testing to prove they will
not burn or explode. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Lithium Yes</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>1) A system with a regulator is
better.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>2) Li-Ion allows you to get better regulation
at higher voltage.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>3) Li-Ion has lower self-discharge.
Charge on Thursday, fly on Saturday or the following
Saturday.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>4) Charging is less complicated, not
temperature sensitive and quite fast with cheap charger. You can
charge at the field if you need to. The further the pack is discharged
the faster it charges. One hour assures you it is half
full.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>5) Easier to predict remaining charge.
Therefore you can use more of the charge before recharging.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>6) Less maintainence. No cycling,
formatting, etc.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>7) Cells are better matched. Bettor for
paralleling.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>8) With the right system design switch,
connector and cable drop is not a concern.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>There is probably more but I need to go to
work.</FONT></DIV>
