There's nothing wrong with experimenting

and you just might find something that's good. And if you don't and you are ok with it, that's fine too. BUT......<BR>

One bit of caution spoken from experience
. Try to have one proven plane in your stable at all times that you can fall back on. If you are a young guy and have aspiration for bigger things, you could take a heck of lot of valuable flying time away from yourself, chasing windmills, and you may never reach your goal. <BR>

I am all for experimentation BTW. That really chimes my bell, but then again my trully competitive years are probably behind me. So now I devote alot more time to design<BR>

I was thinking of joining the wing halfs and making a one-piece wing. That <BR>
would have the effect of reducing the wing span.<BR>
<BR>
Partially I am trying to learn what makes out planes work and partially I am <BR>
trying to come up with something I could build at a reduced cost; so I can get <BR>
them out to potential pattern flyers in my area. Probably put them up for sell <BR>
at the local RC auction.<BR>
