This reminds me of a guy I know who insisted that you had to shake a fuel
jug before using the fuel, because it would separate. I took an empty clear
quart bottle, poured it full of fuel, put it on a shelf and left it. Periodically
I'd tell him to look at the bottle. That bottle sat on the shelf for years
and never separated. The truth is that nitromethane, methanol and synthetic
oil go into solution and cannot be separated. However, if it makes some people
feel better if they shake the fuel jug, let them shake it. <br>

Shaking Up Fuel Bottles?</div>

for over 20 years and is a very qualified rc guy asked me this week if
I had been "shaking" the gallon fuel bottles to mix the ingredients up
before using. I had gotten a bad gallon of fuel that was just purchased
from a local hobby shop and in questioning him about this is when he
asked me the question. I have been doing rc for over ten years and I have
never done this or have ever seen anyone doing this. Do any of you out
there in "pattern land" do this? Thanks.....Don</font></em></div>
