no where else in the US that any one would consider building a $500,000 house
between two Mobile homes (aka, trailers). And they all fit together in the
communities blissfully ignoring each others shortcomings. There is a strong
sense of responsibility towards our fellow man and we are sympathetic to each
others problems, even those that are self inflicted.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I had only been here a few months when I had a total
electrical failure on the Interstate. By the time I had the hood raised on the
exit ramp, four cars stopped offerring assistance. It is much more than just a
neighborhood thing!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I do have to admit that we have our share of problems while we
try to balance liberty and order. Sometimes we are made aware of the extremes in
the negatve elements of society. Also, my perspective is colored by living in a
very rural area.</FONT></DIV>

and at times even accept Yankees. They moved off their sailboat of 27 years
and now live in Morehead City, NC. They were from western

as mastering<BR>the proper attitude. They are naturalizing immigrants every
day.<BR><BR>It really speeds up the process if you understand the two
syllable words<BR>like "Ya-Us" (yes) and "ME-Yun" (men). It is best that you
listen quite a<BR>while before attempting to reproduce the pronunciation. It
is really<BR>offensive if executed poorly.<BR><BR>I have been politely
informed on several occasions that Southerners speak<BR>slowly and listen
slower. And that I am to consider that any time I speak.<BR>I am not sure I
should share the secret but I have also been told that the<BR>main reason
for the Southern talk is because the Yankees find it
so<BR>annoying.<BR><BR>I have figured out on my own that their main use for
me is to attend<BR>meetings where there will be other coarse and crass
Yankees to assure that<BR>their points will be made. It works.<BR><BR>In
time I expect to be fully assimilated and a fresh Yankee will be
needed<BR>to serve that function. I have no proof, but I think the
honeysuckle flowers<BR>have something to do with it!<BR><BR>Did you know
that the city of Cary, NC is really an acronym?<BR><BR>It stands for
