<DIV> I have the Li-ions for my pattern planes now and I now have
the Triton charger which I'm using for a foamie 3DX with a li poly pack so it
got me thinking that the li polys would be the thing to go to. I wonder how
many flights you could go on the Li polys in place of Ni cads. I'm not saying
that I will be doing it just getting feedback and formulating an opinion. I
agree that the Ni cads are a no brainer but I like the extra power of the
litiums and I think i want to stick with them. What kind of E planes are
you doing Mark? Mike <BR><BR><B><I>"Atwood, Mark"

just too easy. You can abuse the crap out of them, charge them with just

cycle 1000 times or more...no exaggeration...and keep ticking. Not to
mention there available anywhere dirt cheap.<BR><BR>That doesn't answer ANY

attention till now. My question is can you use Li-poly's instead of Li ion's
or nicads? Would the regulators have to be different? What about regulators
over heating? How long would a 2 cell 1200 Li poly pack last before needing
a charge? Is this the way were headed? Thanks, Mike
