<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Around Sep 02, I rebuilt one of my OS EFIs - new
conrod, Shadel AAC piston/liner, and a stainless steel rear bearing w/ 2
rubber seals. I use S&W fuel, 22% nitro, 17% synthetic, 2% castor
and run dry at the end of every flying session and then "burn" some Amsoil MP
through the engine (yes, the engine will run on the propellant in the Amsoil
MP). A fair bit of the Amsoil MP "oil" remains in the
engine.</FONT></DIV>

engine is running as strong as when it was rebuilt. No bearing noise or
roughness. BTW - no brass fuel lines or clunk.</FONT></DIV>

about the double-seal bearings. I'd bet just about anything that
they're not "sealed", and that when removed, he's found plain ol' fuel oil

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Think about this. Have you ever seen
bearings rust in a tank with aluminum tubes and no clunk as in a Tetra
bladder tank setup ?? I've seen it, Dave Funk's OS 140RX in his Hydeaway
rusted the original bearing in very few
flights. </FONT></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE></BLOCKQUOTE></BLOCKQUOTE></BODY></HTML>
