Central is still bringing in the ZN kits and the
prices are much much lower. I don't know the details but the latest batch should
be here in a little while 3-5 weeks and the pricing is going to be in the normal
$1000-1100 for the kits. This from what I understand is the kits with the CF
former parts and all the tricked out stuff like the ZN gear and light wheel
pants.

I have been a big advocate of these kits since the
beginning and I still say they are the absolute best quality kit you can get.
They are not as cheap as the ARFs but to me and anyone I know that has built one
of the ZN's they are well worth the current going price. Having seen them
all and now built most of them including the leading US manufacturers...the
ZN kits still have the best kit available.

I have no idea why PL decided to raise their prices
to the levels they did. Perhaps it was a backorder issue and instead of long
lead times the manufacturer decided to raise the price to play. I can't really
say why...I do know that ZN line is aware of the pricing issues and is working
on the costs in order to make the kits even more competitive with the other
manufacturers.

Sooooo, I ask again: WHAT'S THE CATCH?

Matt K
