Maybe the dogsled got lost again. Thanks, Reeves in

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Mike,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>they are the same specs as a 9411....they are
a nylon conversion just like the 8411SA. The price difference is because
the cost of the metal gear train as opposed to the nylon
gears.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Basically many of us have been converting
them ourselves using 911 gear sets and leaving the metal output gear in
place. Now JR has made this a standard offering and the servos comes new
this way.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The part number is <FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=3>JRPS9411SA. </FONT></FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>also this same conversion thing has been done
with the 3421 to give a 3421SA.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Now some of us are making a conversion to the
8417 with the 8411SA gears. This one is not offered this way stock for a
couple reasons. The gear change out changes the specs on the servo. It
slows down and has a little more power. So its not a direct Metal to nylon
conversion. In the case of the SA servos (8411SA, 9411SA, 3421SA) these
servos all retain their same specs except the weight changes slightly as
the nylon gears are lighter.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>These 9411SA's are absolutely the best
aileron servos I have ever used. This past weekend I flew Tony Frakowiak's
Electric Partner and he used these same servos on ailerons and dual
elevators and it was as good of setup as I have ever flown.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV> I've been following the posts about voltage regulators and
Troy mentioned using JR 9411SA's on his ailerons. I saw
the specs on the 9411's but I didn't see a listing on the SA's. Are they
cheaper than the 9411's just as the 8411SA's are $15 cheaper than the
regular 8411's with metal gears? Right now I use 8231's on my ailerons
but I need new servos for a second plane and thought these might work
better. Any insite or thoughts on this are appreciated. Thanks,
Mike</DIV>
