<DIV><FONT size=2>Hi Bob, On my Alliance I mounted the gear as one piece and
then built a small fairing onto the fuse to fill in the gap. It has worked great
and looks smart too. On the new Synergy I couldn't resist doing it the way
everyone else does it and cut the gear in half. Are you using the Bolly to get
more ground clearance? Best Regards, Reeves.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Getting ready to fix a Bolly F3A wide fixed gear to the
Temptation. The gear's about 5/8" narrower than the fuse. What did
you guys do-cut the gear in half and space 5/8" apart or mount the gear as one
piece? Seems that separating it may require more mounting bolts than
single piece but will look better without a large gap between cowl and
fuse. One thing that really disappointed and surprised me is that
the Bolly is almost 2 ounces heavier that the Piedmont
gear.</FONT></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE></BODY></HTML>
