probably shouldn’t use a feeler gauge unless the engine has never been

is as the engine runs, the valve stem starts ‘peening’ a dimple into the

style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">If you put
a feeler gauge into a well run engine and then adjust the valve, the clearance
will be way too loose.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'">IMO, the
correct way to do this is to adjust the valve without a gauge for just a
slight amount of free play when you<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
