Please excuse my late reply to your message--but, better late
than.................well, you know.<br>
One of the reasons about the lack of response to the takeoff and
landing question applies equally to all of the subjects. It's called
factionalism. Unless your ox happens to get gored, you don't care
much. In my case, I really didn't mention this part about takeoffs and
landings; it wasn't that big a deal for me. I was lukewarm about it
one way or the other. OTOH, I am really hot about the omission of the
Immelman Turn and 45 deg. downline snap, that you probably care very
little about. And that's understandable.<br>
Really, the important question is, why were the wishes of the folks
actually flying this stuff, and each of whom is concerned with their
own little compartment, so blatantly ignored in several of the areas.<br>
Ignorance has been mentioned. I don't see how ignorance can be an
issue because:<br>
1.) We have a tremendous amount of information available to us
ordinary folk on the Internet. Presumably governing Boards have at
least as much--probably more.<br>
2.) The plea that all folks may not be on the Internet further ignores
the proposition that, if you take the job, you should at least avail
yourself of all avenues of communication. I don't see any excuse for
any governing body not keeping in contact with those governed.<br>
Am I being too harsh? I don't think so.<br>

and sloppy TO/Landings detract from this. When you are on the "stage"
you are making your presentation. This is why actors take a bow at the
end of thier performance maintaining grace and style; or why TV
newscasters hold their face until the commercial cutaway. It's about
completing the presentation. </font></div>

in my March KFactor column to call their contest board member (phone #s
provided). But with the KFactor running a consistent month late, most
people probably didn't get their March issue (written in
