<DIV>I appreciate your position, but this is non reinforced thermoplastic and
they are VERY tiny. A characteristic of this plastic is that under
continual load it will "flow". If the load is just a bit larger than it
can handle it will break over time.</DIV>
<DIV> If you still think that the spring loop is the culprit, then I
should mention that you installed the springs in mine. And I installed the
replacement hooks that I bought from you too. Interestingly, I still have
the stiff springs and they haven't broken in over a year.</DIV>

the parts are not designed for this, as they will work just fine! The
spring MUST be able to pivot easily, if not it WILL bend and break off the tip

<DIV>A comment about those new springs: I've now seen 3 transmitters
break the plastic hook that holds the spring to the gimbal. On gimbal
broke twice!! first time on the plastic hook and the second on the gimbal
side. Those plastic parts are nit designed for the load of the heavy duty
springs. My transmitter was one of these. I now believe that
they are a nice idea but an impractical one.</DIV>

type and size fire extinguisher you guys would recommend for your
