One could use the Topper tank arrangement that has been discussed many times before for sport engines, and bypass the pump entirely. The standard TN carb on the webra responds pretty well to that arrangement. <BR>

I have done that on the bench and was really tempted to do it at the Peach contest last weekend, when my trusty webra went south for a couple rounds. It turned out it was not the pump, eventhough I have had trouble this year with the previous pump. It was a bad plug.<BR>

That is called a liquid manometer and is used in calibration labs with mercury as a liquid. Thus the term inches of mercury takes meaning.Any liquid could be used such as fuel and has no meaning except relative to fuel weight. I have a pressure gage to use.A person could also use a vacuum gage like is used to set old fashion carburators,but the vacuum gage would be installed in the tank supply before the pump,thus measuring the pumps ability to pull the fuel from the tank. Either way is relative to the pumps ability to function.<BR>
A cline regulator is $60 + a check valve and is the easy way out.<BR>
