Going back to around 2000 when this argument started coming up with vigor. You

<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Hey everyone. Having flown the Masters sequence for 2.5 years, I
learned something new at the Nats. Thought it might be a good idea to
cover again(or I'm behind the thought curve)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Correct me if incorrect also.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>On point rolls, the centers are determined by where the first point roll
begins and where the final pt roll ends. So, on a 2 of 4 pt roll, the
center of the roll is actually the middle of the knife edge. The first
point begins to knife edge, and the last point roll ends after knife edge,
making the center of the manuever the middle of knife edge, not the 2nd point
roll(as I had thought)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So the center of a 4 pt roll is the middle of the Inverted portion(again
not between the 2nd and 3rd points) With the same theory, the center of
the 4 of 8 pt roll is the center of knife edge.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Initially, it seems strange to me as I used to think the transition to
another point was the center, but this is incorrect. Once thought of in
a different perspective this make total sense.</DIV>
