You can do it yourself it is an easy fix.

First remove the throttle arm from the barrel. Then remove the
small retainer clip which is on the same end of the barrel as the throttle arm.
then back out the throttle stop screw.

Now push the barrel out, be sure to push it out from left to
right while looking from the front of the engine to keep from damaging the
barrel seal (that is push from the throttle arm end toward the low speed
needle end) Remove the low end needle. You will see a hole in the barrel
baffle on the low end needle side, this hole is about 3/32" in diameter. use a
new 1/8" diameter drill bit and drill out this hole to exactly 1/8" diameter
with the new drill bit.I used two pieces of soft wood or balsa to chuck the
barrel in a small vice to do this, the barrel is aluminum and will drill out
very easy. after this is done clean up any burrs with a sharp exact-o
blade. reinstall the low end needle, screw it in all the way then back it out
2-1/4 turns.

Reinstall the barrel making sure to push it in starting from
the throttle arm end to keep from damaging the seal. That's it done deal!

Run the engine and adjust the high end. You may need to re
adjust the low end needle. Mine is now set at 2-1/2 turns
open.

This fix eliminated 100% of the mid range load up and the
engine runs great at all throttle settings.
