not remove the shields. I'm assumming this is the same bearing, rubber
seals, that I am using on the 91FX. You need to provide adequate crankcase
coling.

punch (or your smallest jeweler’s screwdriver…) and pop a tiny hole
in the shield (between balls of course). The metal shield will start to
deform from that – then lever the shield out of the bearing either
using the hole or an edge exposed from the hole- making.

stainless steel shielded bearings for my OS 1.60 and need to remove the
shields. I haven't figured out a way to do it yet without damaging
the bearing. Any ideas? Special tools?
