difference between SEALED &#8211; as in rubber coated steel seals - -and
shielded &#8211; as in steel shields that don&#8217;t provide any real barrier
to liquids etc passing thru. </span></font></p>

sealed bearings, routinely pull at least one shield from shielded ones before

if you do not remove the shields. I'm assumming this is the same bearing,
rubber seals, that I am using on the 91FX. You need to provide adequate
crankcase

your smallest jeweler&#8217;s screwdriver&#8230;) &nbsp;and pop a tiny hole in
the shield (between balls of course). The metal shield will start to
deform&nbsp; from that &#8211; then lever the shield out of the bearing either
using the hole or an edge exposed from the hole- making. </span></font></p>
