what exactly is the material you are referring to? Do you feel it would be
superior to MDF? I understand the material needs to be supported to prevent
sag...I just don't want anything that'll swell with moisture if I need to leave

fiberboard, to build cabinets, unless you want one "heavy as heck" cabinet, no

heavy, industrial grade particle board is what would be used in cabinet
making, beneath the veneers. The material can be found at your local HD,
