plenty of straight edges. I use 6" wide particle board, run through my
table saw, and put plastic laminate on both long edges. </FONT></DIV>

light on one side while looking on the other, you shouldn't be able to see any,
or very little, light under the straight edge.</FONT></DIV>

common element to this discussion is that you need to measure how flat the
surface winds up. What tricks are you guys using to actually measure how flat
