The pipe provides low pressure to help feed the draw of the carb. The engine
provides much higher pressure, often used with a check-valve, to operate
regulators and pumps. You can't pressurize a tank with engine-pressure (3-9lbs)
and expect the carb to be able to handle the resultant fuel

also need to use the Perry carb. I have one now that I am still
running and once its set I had to barely make any adjustments over the
whole season. Putting it in a Funtana 90 right now...should be a
blast!!</FONT></DIV>

quite successfully with no pump. He runs the tank behind the
