Ed: Looks to me like a very good number. My Hideout
came out at 15 oz. per panel, ready to fly, servos, linkage, et al, which
made me happy. Of course, it was built by Dave Guerin; I don't know if
I could do such a good job. Surprisingly, I just realized I haven't
weighed the wings of the Focus 1 or Focus 2,. Maybe somebody else on
the list has done so. How's the flying weather been up in
N.J.?

Bill Glaze

Ed Alt wrote:

Just wondering what a good weight is per wing
panel, sheeted, ready to cover for a typical 2M ship? I've got 3 of
4 panels done at this point for a pair of Temptations and they're 10.6 oz
each. These seems good to me, but I have to admit to this being my
first experience in doing a modern pattern airplane from scratch.
I'm at least pleased that I managed to get the weights the same for each
panel so far. High, low, just about right?
