<DIV>It is always a process of mixed feelings when a competitive election
occurs in a <BR>volunteer organization. All of the out-going officers are
volunteers who <BR>have given countless hours to our society.<BR><BR>As I look
back over my time in pattern, Tony, Ron and Maureen were always <BR>there
whenever the NSRCA needed them. In more recent years Derek stepped <BR>forward
and organized our treasury to the best it has ever been. Maureen <BR>volunteered
for everything, and I mean everything that needed to be done, <BR>and never
stopped working for us. Ron has lived and breathed pattern and the <BR>nationals
with a personal passion that will be hard to follow. Tony has done <BR>it all:
Multiple Nationals, Worlds, rules changes, you name it. Now he is an <BR>AMA
District VP carrying the torch.<BR><BR>As an Ex president, Tony has a free
lifetime membership to the NSRCA. If I <BR>had my way they all would get
one. (Of course our new treasurer might not <BR>agree (BG).)<BR><BR>Now a new
team of NSRCA volunteers has been assembled by your votes. Let's <BR>all band
together and get on with the business of growing our sport.<BR><BR>Best
