<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">What ever you add will not be reactive with the epoxy since it is of a different chemistry, and even if it was the same, the stoichiometry would be messed up. As long as it is small amounts the properties would not be drastically altered, but the problem here is that the paint usually has alot of solvent in it, and that will be trapped in the fillet mix. Also, all epoxy resin will yellow with age, hence one of the major reasons why auto paints are not epoxy based.</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">The real answer is this. What you want out of this scenario is white fillets. Look on the Internet and call DuPont. You are now Jim's Custom Coatings Inc. Ask for a sample of R-900 Titanium Dioxide. In about 1 week you will get a 1 lb can of pure TiO2 for free. Add %-10% by weight to you resin and you will have the whitest fillets in your neighborhood. Do not change your epoxy mix ratio. This stuff is totally safe as it is THE white pigment used in all paint, make-up and toothpaste.<br>

Can I mix PPG color with epoxy and microballoons for a colored fillet? The fuse is painted and the stab is covered and installed. Will there be a problem with the concoction curing or yellowing.<br>
