<DIV>In order to update and include items for consideration listed in my
previous post please add the following comments, questions, proposals and
opinions to my list.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>44. Revise the weight rules to allow a higher weight limit in the sportsman
and intermediate classes.</DIV>
<DIV>45. Change the wording in the rule to allow for marginal overweight to be
legal at all contests except the Nationals where the letter of the current rules
would be enforced.</DIV>
<DIV>46. Increasing the weight of a pattern design will result in an advantage
because heavier airplanes fly better in the wind.</DIV>
<DIV>47. Change the rules to provide a minimum weight limit and add a limit on
power with a handicap penalty for exceeding the power limit.</DIV>
<DIV>48. Current FAI patterns dictate that heavier wing loading is
required to achieve optimum performance.</DIV>
<DIV>49. Why should a twelve and a half pound airplane be illegal in
pattern?</DIV>
<DIV>50. Pattern design requirements are an ever changing target driven by
revisions to the complexity of the patterns that we fly. When new maneuver
patterns are adopted optimum design requirements will change accordingly.</DIV>
<DIV>. Power loading and wing loading is an integral part if optimum
design.</DIV>
<DIV>52. If and when FAI weight rules are changed will AMA rules be changed
accordingly?</DIV>
<DIV>53. Considering current designs Is it true that current wing loading
utilizing optimum design is 1.10 pounds per 100 square inches of wing area and
if so is it not also true that a twelve pound optimum design would
have 1090 square inches of wing area. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I will continue to add items to this list as they are brought forward
in an effort to enable those interested to achieve a true prospective
concerning the subject at hand.</DIV>
