listed is because they have sequence changes each year and they are not known
when the rule book is done. So, any approved changes are printed.
Personally, I don't see the need to do this anymore, as all of this can be on
the AMA website in a download for that SIG's rulebook. However, that is
the way it has been done in the past and the AMA website is not ready for new
changes, yet. If we (NSRCA) had the Annex system that we proposed last
time, the same thing would be happening for Pattern..

As a member of the
AMA EC, I can tell you that the website is going to be COMPLETELY redesigned. It
will probably take over a year to get it all done, but it will be 1000% better
than it is now!

I was scanning the latest Model Aviation and came across
the NSRCA renewal
form. I think this is a 1/3 page ad (not sure
of size)? I'm not trying to
step on any toes, but wouldn't the
NSRCA be better served to use that space
to promote our group
(friendship, camaraderie, competition, precision
flying) and the
K-Factor (shown w/ one of the beautiful color covers)? If I
wasn't already an NSRCA member, I don't think I would even recognize
what
the NSRCA was about by just looking at the form. I think a
web address and
some fine print contact info. could be shared with
other, more promotional,
material within the ad space.

I wonder
how many people will actually be using that form?
